- Make ready 5-6 Blackpepper
- Get 1 Bay leave
- Take 1 tbsp cumin for boiling rice
- Prepare Cloves 2
- Prepare Mint leaves few for boiling
- Make ready Biryani colour orange and yellow it's up to you
- Get Biryani essence
- Make ready Kewra
- Get Coal for dum
- Get Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp for marination and 1 tbsp for tomato
- Prepare Gravy

- First marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, tikka masala of any brand or homemade tikka masala, vinegar and Yougurt. Set aside for half and hour.
- After half and hour take 2 tbsp oil in a sauce pan and put marinated chicken on stove.
- In the mean while sliced 2 onions. Fry them and spread it on tissue paper on a tray.
- Now in a separate saucepan take the leftover oil.heat it and add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, chillies and chopped ginger.Cut the tomatoes in to 4 wedges.Put the lid and small quantity of water.Let the tomatoes tender.
- When the tomatoes get tender, add chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted zeera and 1 tsp of chicken tikka masala.
- Now add corriander leaves, lemon juice and Yougurt beaten 4 tbsp.You can add lemon slices also. To make it more spicy you can add chopped chillies also according to your taste.
- Now add the chicken tikka gravy with masala but don't add the oil in which chicken is cooked and give a dum of coal too in a small aluminium foil and pour some oil on the coal and cover it with lid and set aside.
- Boil rice with the garam masala given above in the ingredient list.Once the rice is boiled, strain it.
- Now prepare kewra water, biryani essence orange and yellow food colour in a cup.
- Now put the chicken gravy first and then rice in a separate sauce pan. put the prepared biryani essence, kewra water and colour on it.Spread some corriander leaves and fried onion for garnishing also.
- Now put the saucepan on direct heat first for 10 to 15 mins. After 10 mins put the tawa on slow flame and saucepan on it.
- If you like more bbq flavour in biryani you can give a dum of coal again.
- Now biryani is ready to serve with salad.
